Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z Launched in India

Bajaj has introduced the 2024 Pulsar NS400Z in the Indian market. The Pulsar NS400Z, the biggest Pulsar ever, has been launched in India at an attractive price of INR 1.85 Lakh (introductory).Powering the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is the same 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, engine as the Dominar 400 and it makes the same 40hp at 8,800rpm and 35Nm at 6,500rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox and an assist and slipper clutch. Bajaj claims that the NS400Z has a top speed of 154kph.  The Pulsar NS400Z comes loaded with features like LED lights, switchable traction control, four ride modes- Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-road, and adjustable brake and clutch levers. There's also a new digital LCD unit with Bluetooth connectivity.

Regarding suspension, the NS400 features 43mm gold-finished USD forks at the front and a gas-charged monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a 320mm disc up front mated and a 230mm rotor at the rear. Dual-channel ABS is standard. Tyre sizes are 110/70-17 (front) and 140/70-17 (rear) on the NS400Z. The Pulsar NS400Z has a 12-litre fuel tank and a seat height of 805mm. The Pulsar NS400Z uses an underbelly exhaust, similar to the smaller NS200.

In terms of design, the Pulsar NS400Z draws similarities to its predecessor, the NS200. The headlight grabs attention with its bold, thunderbolt-shaped daytime running lights (DRLs) and the LED projector beam. The side and tail sections of the 400Z resemble the NS200. You get a muscular tank with neatly integrated tank extensions.The Pulsar NS400 will be offered in color variants - Ebony Black, Glossy Racing Red, Metallic Pearl White, and Pewter Grey.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z rivals the Hero Mavrick 400, KTM Duke 390, Triumph Speed 400, TVS Apache RTR 310, and Husqvarna Svartpilen 401.
